Welcome to Articles About Faith!

My name is Douglas A. Leas, and this website is my corner of the Internet Blogosphere. Given that I am a Christian, I intend to publish articles primarily about the Christian religion and faith. However, I may, in the future, post articles about other faiths to compare them to Christianity.

I am an educated man interested in researching and writing about faith. I have earned a bachelor's, master's, and PhD degree, but they are in technology fields, not theology or religion. I worked in industry for thirty years and taught at the college/university level for ten years.

Recently, I decided to study Jesus' teachings in depth. Encouraged by the people I discussed my research with, I wrote the book "The Life and Teachings of Jesus", which is available on Amazon. I suppose that makes me an amateur theologian.

After I published the book, I branched out and began studying the Bible more broadly, church history, and the differences between the many Christian faith traditions. I found myself writing papers on these topics, and I decided to start this blog with articles based on those papers.
